Male STD Profile Basic - Cost £200

Screens for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, Yeast Infections and Non-gonococcal urethritis. Includes consultation, urethral swab, urine test and a blood test. Results available within 3 business days.

Male STD Profile Plus - Cost £300

Screens for Herpes Simplex 1&2, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV 1 & 2, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, Yeast Infections and Non-gonococcal urethritis, Includes consultation, urethral swab, urine test and a blood test. Results available within 3 business days.

Human Papilloma Virus Screening for Men - Cost £169

Men can carry the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and not have any symptoms or health related problems however they can pass it onto their partners, who in turn can develop cervical cancer. Some types of the virus also cause genital warts which require treatment and other types can cause penile and anal cancer. Signs of genital warts include growth on the penis, testicles, groin, thigh or anus which may be raised or flat. Results available within 5 business days. Cost includes consultation and urine test or swab.

Failure to achieve an erection and premature ejaculation and other sexual health problems affects one in ten men and can often be a result of medication, illness or lifestyle changes. It can have a devastating effect on your confidence and sexual well-being. Whether the problem be physical or psychological investigation and treatment is important to rule out underlying causes and regain your confidence. Sildenafil or Viagra is a popular treatment for impotence however it will be prescribed with caution and after the relevant investigations.

Cervical Smear only - Cost £145

Human Papilloma Virus Screen and Cervical Smear - Cost £250

Includes consultation, lab fees and follow up. Results for smear available within 48 hours and the HPV smear result available within 5 business days.

HIV Testing
 

An estimated 63,500 adults were living with HIV in the UK at the end of 2005, of whom 20,100 (32%) were unaware of their infection. Our private doctors have vast experience dealing with HIV testing and its prevention. HIV test results are generally returned within 24 hours and pre and post test counseling is done for all HIV tests.

HIV 1 & 2  with p24 Antigen only - Cost £115

HIV Testing can be carried out 28 days post exposure. Cost includes consultation, councelling and blood test.  Results within 24 hours.

HIV 1 & 2  Instant Test - Cost £135

HIV Testing carried out on the premises and results within minutes giving instant peace of mind. Must be carried out 3 months after possible exposure.  Cost includes consultation, counselling  and testing.

HIV RNA/DNA Testing - Cost £320

This HIV test is carried out as early as ten days post exposure with results available within 5 business days.  Cost includes consultation, counselling and test.

 

Other Sexually Transmitted Diseases and Infection - Chlamydia, Gonorrheoa and Herpes

Urine PCR only - Cost £215

Screens for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Herpes, Mycolpasma, Ureaplasma, Trichomonas and Garnerella vaginalis. Includes consultation and urine test. Results available within 5 business days.

Chlamydia and Gonorrheoa testing only - Cost £141

Includes consultation and swab or urine test. Results available within 3 business days. Please note: SINGLE TESTS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST. COSTS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON THE MOST SUITABLE OPTION.

Herpes Simplex DNA by PCR Total Cost £141

HPV, Gardasil, Cervarix and Cervical Cancer
 

The  HPV Cervical Cancer Vaccine Gardasil and Cervarix are available from MediClinic.  We have up to date information and advice on HPV, Gardasil and Cervarix.  Consultation is free if you complete the course of HPV vaccines with us.
