This depends on the type of blood test that has been done.  The time taken to received the results varies according to which blood test you have had completed.

The laboratory can return the certain results to us within 24 hours, whilst for other tests the results can take 3 or 4 days. As a rule, we advise our patients that test results will be returned to them within 24 – 48 hours, while for cervical smears the results can take up to 3 – 4 days.
