How is CERVARIX or GARDASIL Given? E-mail
Cervarix and Gardasil both require a total of 3 injections, at the following minimum intervals:
  • Initial dose
  • Second dose: 2 months later
  • Third dose: 4 months after the second dose
Missing a dose will make the vaccines less effective and the manufacturers cannot guarantee protection against HPV types 16 and 18 for Cervarix, and HPV 6, 11, 16, 18 for Gardasil.
